Codes ? --- Help Please
I have several error codes under 58-SDM and I cant find anything in the search on here.
B 0026
U 1000
U 1016
U 1040
U 1096
Someone Please tell me what these codes mean. Also I have gone to the links that some have posted for the DIC Codes but I cant find what the 58-SDM Code means. Any info on this?

Go to www.corvettedoctor.com
Click on Technical Data Base, then ECM Computer Codes, then Year.
Or something like that. Will give you all the codes.

The B0026 is a BCM fault code and all of the "U" fault codes I think are loss of communications, the only thing missing is they should have been followed by either an "H" or an "H C" for history or current, either way erase all of them in manual diagnostics by scrolling thru and holding the reset button down to erase the code and see if anything comes back.

No, But I had the column lock recall done and the column lock plate removed. I suppose that when they took all of it apart could they have left the Air Bag connector loose?
