They are headers desgined by the Vette Doctors and manufactured by American Racing Headers. They look to be very easy to install. I have them on my 03 Vert. They look nice, the fit looks good. I cannot comment on the gains because it was done as part of a H/C package.

See sig for details on HP/TQ numbers

Do a search. They are sold by Vette Doctors, a Forum Vendor. Lots of info about them.

They are awesome headers!

I just installed a set in my Dad's car. They are easy to install. They install from the bottom with ease. It's a great design and as bolt-ons go this is about as easy as you get. There is no interference with existing wiring and you don't even need extension wires for the O2 sensors. The x-pipe design allows plenty of flexibility to work with any catback system.

You don't even have to remove the starter motor either although I loosened the bolts on the starter for some "wiggle" room.

Great headers, they were such an easy install that I might install a set on my car too.

Eric, you didn't have to take anything apart, ie. valve covers, alternator, ect..... to install?

Alternator and spark plug wires need to come off. I left the plugs in. I also unbolted the steering linkage, but I am not sure that was really necessary.

No need to remove the valve covers.

I've installed many sets on various years. My experience is:

The alternator does not have to come out.
I do remove the coil packs and plug wires for ease of access to header bolts.
Starter does not have to come out or loosen.
With Air Tubes I remove the positive wire to the starter and ground wire to the side of the block on the driver side for about a minute until the headers are in.
You do not have to raise the motor.
No need to touch the steering.

It takes longer to get the old exhaust out then the headers in.

how did you guys get the passenger side in so easily? i have the 1 3/4 headers and my passenger side was a nightmare.

it kept hitting the hard AC line even with the starter removed.

The A/C line on the passenger side is sort of in the way. With the header up in place and against the edge of the bellhousing, a little pull on the header will push the line out of the way enough to pop the header right in. You can actually bend/move the line over to the outside before installing the header.

The only reason I remove the posi wire to the starter is to make sure it doesn't get cut up by the edge of the header and it gives a little more room. Other than that, the passenger side pops in with a little wiggle and jiggle. A little push and pull wihle working it up in and it sort of finds it's own way. It's a beautiful thing!

Had The Vette Doctors install a set on my 04 C5 back in February and they are nice! Well made stainless from front to back with welded cats and cross overs. Hooked them up to Corsa Indys with Daytona tips and for me it's perfect! Good luck and Happy Vetting...

I took my buddies lift today and my mechanic and myself couldn't install them. There was no fu***** way to get them in. We were moving them for 3 hours, rotating them in every position, we then lifted the motor, took the plugs and the starter off. It still couldn't get in. I had to get out of the lift so we had to install the stock manifolds back. No need to say I am really pissed off!!! It seemed like the oil pan was the barrier, we couldn't get past it.
Any advise????? Please I beg you!!!

?? somethings up, these have to be the easiest header I have ever installed in a C5. Most cars are completed in 3-4 hours start to finish.

Torchvette, Give A. R. Headers a call. I'm sure they'll give you some helpfull advise. Like Doug at ECS said, these headers are an easy install.

I know that's what I heard! I bought them from A&A Corvette, the final cost was 2800 dollars (shipping + taxes in France makes it cost this much ).
I tried everything and couldn't get them to slide past the oil pan, really no way (I installed my tranny, my supercharger I guess I am able to install headers )
Don't think that i am bashing the product here, I am just looking for help. I am just a little frustrated to have worked 6 hours to have the same exact car with the stock headers I know they are great, and if ECS says so, I believe it!!! Anyone???
I tried to call Vette doctors but they don't answer.
