Just received my LS7 clutch parts today from Beans..are the flywheel and pressure plate balanced as a set-or individually? I see paint marks on the flywheel and different colored marks on the plate, but no <obvious> indication of how or whether they must be oriented as a mated pair??

now just need to find a shop near me that will install them. Dyno Tech in Ft. Wayne refuses to use parts I purchased
I've installed several and never had any vibration or other issues. There are 3 bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel out of the box. I ussually mark the position and install it the same way it comes out of the box. I've also installed it without marking it and never had any issues but I ussually try to anyway.
I've never used shims as some have suggested and I've used the stock Master Cylinder on more than one occasions. I've never had one give problems.
The only small hassle with the install is you must loosen the 5 bellhousing bolts to get it in there where the stock clutchs drops right out after removing the inspection cover. It's not a big deal though with an air wrench, 30" extension and a 13mm swivel socket!
