head cam package? 500 bhp

What head cam package would be best for getting a daily drivin c5 to 500 bhp? btw ive got a vararam intake and b&b bullet exhaust and getting lg pro lt headers soon. I would also like to also have a respectable amount of low end on the powerband.

as much as you can while still keeping pretty good reliability. nope im regestered out side the city, so the sniffer wont be an issue

im waiting on my afr 205' s milled to 59cc with 921 springs, LGM's Executive cam,Comp pushrods,160 thermostat,LS2 timing chain and Underdrive pully...500bhp should be no problem and pass the sniffer check as well as be a nice DD if need be.

I got 525 Engine HP, and 505 Engine Tq with LG's setup (AFR 205/Cam/LG Headers). VERY driver friendly cam !!!

Check out what we did to my buddies 99' Vert. 413rwhp/382rwtq through the stock mufflers...

Did the work ourselves. Less than $2000 in it including the dyno tune ...

I would say that AFR 205 heads combined with AFR’s 224/228 cam, FAST 90 intake with a ported LS2 throttlebody would work well with the LG longtubes and achieve your goal

Thanks for all the help it really put me int the right direction im thinkin of the lg setup with the afr 205's it seems popular for a large hp gain and with the rep lg has you cant go wrong.

Heads = ETP 215's

Cam = 224-228 - 114+2

Headers = LG's or AR

Fast 90 and LS2 TB

End results:
= 440 - 450 RWHP (517-530 Brake HP)
= 410 - 420 RWT (482-494 Brake Torque)

Straight forward and guaranteed results..and it's a daily driver!
