Default Strange issue help

Last night got in the Z the ignition key was very difficult to get into the ignition But the car started up no problem.

This morning the key was so difficult it took a while before I could get it to go into the ignition. Finally I attempt to turn the key and it will not budge, (Lights, seat memory, keyfob all work) so go grab my other key and have the same problem.

So disconnect the battery and wait 5 minutes reconnect and know the key sides into the ignition as if brand new. Key turns and the dash lights up windows, radio works. But the car will not start or the column unlock. Try other key and same issue. Car is at the dealer and told them this plus car has cam and heads and tuning so do not reflash computer without talking to me first please.

So is this another form of column lock (which the car was serviced for over a year ago) or is the ignition tumbler gone fubar which caused the column lock to set?

Any one have this issue before?

Thanks
Ray
