Just started doing this yesterday. When coming to a stop, the engine does not settle on an rpm to idle at. Rpm drop down to 500 then up to 900 back down, and then finally settles at the 750. MAF cleanded a few weeks ago along with the air filter. No check engine light and no codes being set. Car has just over 50,000 miles.
Go to “technical data base” and then to “Corvette ECM Computer Codes”. Then select your year car. Read the instructions and then scroll down to the "READ MORE" window to view the code definitions.
Yep,,sounds like your getting un-metered air into the engine. there is probably a vacuum leak or the pluming between the MAF and the TB isnt properly connected. Also check your air filter.
you should have left it alone but any who. check for man made goofs air leak etc a scanner can tell you if you have an air leak if you know how to read one
As it turns out, the coupler had become disconnected from the air bridge. Not really noticeable just lifting the hood and looking since they are a snug fit. I'll be out in the vette later today to see if indeed that was the problem.
