why does my car dies when cold?
My cammed Z06 seems to have a hard time when I first start it cold to stay on. If left my foot of the gas pedal, the car dies. However, when the car is all warmed up, the car would idle prefectly at 1000 RPM.
Is this a tuning problem or something else?

was the car tuned? how long ago was the cam put in? did the problem start right after the install? if the car was tuned/cam went in a while ago,could be just a dirty throttle blade/housing.if it happened soon after the cam,possibly a vacuum/air leak,tune,etc.

The very first thing that i would do is check for codes! Also check for leaks between the MAF and the TB. Check all of the vacuum lines especially the fittings and hoses for the PCV stuff.
