I salute you as a soldier.

But as a forum member; you gotta understand that the forum owners -do indeed- set the rules here; and have every right to do so... in any direction of their choosing.

I only asked my question because I felt the forum rules are a little vague about this instance and was hoping for a clarification.

So should the admins send you the MANY 10's of thousands of dollars worth of Computer Server/Hardware bills? OR should they just suck it up and pay it out of their personal checking account just so you can come on here and try to low ball a business man..

Because face it.... This website isnt FREE. SOMEONE has to pay for bandwidth, servers, accounting, IT support, etc etc etc. And it sure as he!! isnt YOU.

So go ahead, try and save that couple bucks by going to a non supporting vendor. This way when you get ripped off we can all sit back and laugh at you.

Better yet, go buy your parts at Autozone. This way you dont have to be burdened with 24 hour access to "Corvette Only" business owners that can answer any questions you might have, because you dont think they should be able to "Pay" to advertise their expertise.

Way to bring it back on topic.

It is supposed to keep the headers from turning colors and also keep the heat inside the headers instead of the heat radiating off into your engine bay and under carriage.

Hang on buddy we're all listening... Just stay put for now. No rush. That's how deals are made.

Dan...
I think in the SAME thread someone said something like, being patient and not jumping in so EARLY (something on the lines of not such good negotiating skills)... I just like reading everyone's comments. But some I remember.

Now, now... HOLD ON (this is for all those who wanna support the "supporting vendor). Nate from Corvette garage IS A "supporting vendor". I'm waiting to hear his bid. Bidding is a free way, an American way of doing business.

I feel the excitement of the GP is coming back... JMHO. GP's are suppose to be exciting, and its a Band Wagon affect. A great deal comes along, and everyone jumps ON - even people who never thought of buying that product before.

you can purchase anything anywhere you want but not advertise it here. Supporting vendors pay 200 or 300 or more per month and it is not fair for someone to come on here and put a plug for a non-member vendor. You can email your Friends just not plug it on here.

your yellow pages are part of your overhead of your business like the supporting vendors pay here. So the equivalant is someone in the yellow pages for free next to your add. You would not be happy. JMHO

I don't think there's such a thing as "one started with someone, so they've gotta finish it there". Everyone has the right to buy whatever they want, from who ever they want. Its their money, they can choose to spend it with whoever they want. The bidding is still ON. May the person with best offer get more orders. If a CF member is looking to start a GP, all supporting vendors have the RIGHT to get our orders. They need to give their bottom line price. And in this case Nate's price IS Lower... So what are we complaining about - saving money? Isn't that the whole purpose of a GP, and CF members helping each other? (JMHO).....

point made!i just checked out nate.you can't beat him.if it was a question of 20-30 bucks i could see staying with tbyrne, but the # will never beat nate's.it's just a shame 2 vendors went head to head, but nate wins, hands down.sorry tbyrne, but you would have to be a idiot to go your way instead of nate's,sorry.stick a fork in it,it's done

I could have got this system last year for even less, from a shop in Ft.Myers Florida, (NOTE: the complete system NOT just the headers ) I kick myself for not buying it then, as I see it's went up in price allot since then. Vendor or no vendor I would buy from whom ever offered the best price ON the COMPLETE SYSTEM.

If I new of someone/some where/ where you could get the system for a $1000 I am quite sure ALL members would want to know where. That is what this forum is for, to pass along "INFORMATION" and if a supporting vendor can not offer a better price, well to bad, cut your profit margin.

ALSO all the talk on this thread I hope where talking about pricing on the Complete System and NOT just the headers.

hello - the price difference is pretty much $20.... Nate isn't the one offering the 1299 i don't think... i'm pretty sure the person offering 1299 is not a CF Vendor... but don't quote me i could be wrong...
