I have a leak coming from my A/c unit and soaking my pass floor. I have been researching leak problems on other threads but had a few questions.
I checked the drain tube and it is clear.
Then there is the airbox drain. The thread said the crimped end had to be cut off. How is that reattached. So I need to but the part.
I have my carpet removed and it looks like the cylinder above the pass left foot is dripping.
Guess what? Had identical problem fixed and the car returned just yesterday!
Evaporator core clogged
Actuator need to be replaced
Fan blower went bad from taking water
1,000 bucks! Really sucks....
Herbie

OUCH! Are the Evaporator and actuator accesible can I fix this myself?
Thanks in advance! How many miles did you have on your c5?
Allright, I ran the car with the A/C on today and this is what i observed:
Underneath the passenger dash there is a circular container with foam at the bottom and a plastic tube coming off the side. I saw a drip coming from the container and I pulled the tube coming from the side. Water poured out like a faucet for a few seconds. So it seems that water is collecting in here and is not draining.
I am willing to bet it is definitely your airbox drain. I posted a thread last week here, had the same problem with my 2000 coupe. Look at Bill Curlee's C5 leak thread carefully (in this forum). The airbox drain tube is NOT easy to get at, it's on the passenger side between the cylinder head and the firewall. I really scratched my arm and hands up getting it off. You definitely want to do this when your engine is cold!!! I still have not put my tube back on, mainly due to it being so difficult to do! I drove for almost 300 miles without the drain tube on and the A/C on and no issues. Odds are your tube is full of gunk like mine was.
