Default Help with Daytime Running Lamps

I have an 02 Z06 and my DRL's quit working. Both of them. I took the wiring harness out and checked all the wires, sockets and bulbs. They are all fine so now I am at loss. Is there a relay that I need to check or what else could it be? My turn signals work and the lights work with the headlights on but NO DRL's. I checked all the fuses and they are OK too. I don't know where to go next. I am sure someone has had this problem before and can point me in the right direction. I'm assuming it may be a relay or something but I have no idea which one since I can't really figure out any of the abbreviations on the bottom cover of the fuse boxes.

You said you checked the fuse, but it seems awfully strange that both quit at the same time. Mine quit once and it ended up being a blown fuse. Re-check the fuse for the DRLs in the underhood fuse panel.

If your emergency brake is on a couple of clicks that will turn off the lights. Just a suggestion. - AL

The fuse is #2 under the hood (Approach) and the relays are #38 and #40 in the passenger footwell. It's probably the fuse if both went out at the same time and the relays are still letting the signal/park lights through.

I believe Fuse #2 also feeds the reverse lights flash for the alarm activation. Do your reverse lights flash when you arm your alarm?

PM your EMail addy and I can EMail the wiring schematic for the DRLs to you....

spot on. That should tell you if its the fuse

If only one had quit it could have been bulbs or the relay.

Thanks guys! It was the #2 fuse. I had checked all the fuses in the passenger floorboard and thought I had checked the ones under the hood but obviously not. It was smoked! Thanks for the help. I was about to lose it.... You guys are great!
