i am thinking about getting a roll cage but i am having a problem figureing out if i can fit in the car after one is installed. its a 2000 FRC and i am a 6'5" 270 pound guy.
The only thing you would have a problem with is your seat movement back. You lose about an inch of back travel with a properly built cage. You should be ok on the sides.
I got mine from Wolfe Race Craft in Alrington, Tx. Call them
and talk to them about the fit. They are the "Top Dogs" for cages
in Texas. Here is the link and you can look at my home page to see mine.http://www.wolferacecraft.com/ My Home Page http://www.vbretting.com/

That is a nice looking bar! Is that ECS? The only problem I see with that is I wouldn't fit in that car! Looks like it is going to loose at least 4" of seat travel. Looks like a lot of work going on there, that thing is in almost as many pieces as mine!
Is that bar welded right on the frame? Or do they weld something on the frame then weld the bar to that?

You lose about an inch of seat travel, that's all.
It's a 6 point and all 6 points are directly welded to the chassis. I have not welding it in yet - that is not the final location. The swing-up side bars are also not in yet.
It's a custom chrome moly cage. Contact Cajundude for pricing and other details

I understand , I was looking how far that cross bar was in front of the rear pan. My seat always sits all the way back against the back pan. I was thinking there would be no way I would ever fit in something like that.
If your body extends past the sides of the seat you may have a problem. The side bars run right next to the door. The bar would run below your knees so you wouldn't hit it there.
