Squeaking Bird-like Noise
Last few weeks, I have been hearing this on start up, but goes away after a few minutes. Any ideas ? (Fluids seem fine) Thanks.

squeky/bird chirping
Experienced something very similar recently.Took my 2001 to dealer and they told me it was the catalytic converters were bad.Thankfully GM's emission warranty is 7 years 80,000 miles and it was covered 100%.After new cats were installed the noise went away and the car sounds 100% better with my Borla quad stingers. The sound I was exp.was also like a loud coaches whistle. It happened at start up and acceleration only.

It's a pully, probably the drive belt tensioner. Shoot some WD40 on it and the squeek should go away for a while.

Most likely belt tensioner and idler...simple fix..the noise will get progressively worse over time until you fix...
