Default service traction control

hope some one can help. i hit a small bump and the abs active comes on if it is more than one consecutive bump it will turn the traction control light on and service traction control.i was wondering if the module under the right front tire is dirty or wet.it started after i clean the drain behind the battery, and it only does it when the right side hit a bump.(the car keeps running perfect just the light its on) thank you

Pull the DTC and post. Most likely you have bad female connectors on the front speed sensor harnesses.

What year is you Vette? It maybe a loose / dirty ground connection. If you have the rear mounted EBTCM, there is a ground point near the Left Rear wheel well. Also, check the 'pigtail' connector which plugs into the bottom of the EBTCM. Sounds like its loose.

Bill Curlee posted a great write up of a fix. It involved cleaning a number of connectors and solved his problem. I tried a search but its not coming up. I have a copy if you want it

If the problem occurs when going over a bump it may well be the connector causing it.

i found the problem,in the passenger side back tire the clip that keeps abs, traction control connector away from the axel came loose and the wires broke by touching the spinning axel.

As complicated as these cars are, it seems that most issues tend to be minor things related to wiring or connectors.

Good to hear this was another simple fix.
