Door lock problem on 2001
I recently was on a trip and I locked my doors with the Fob. The horn honked as normal. I forgot something in the car and opened the door to get it when the alarm sounded. When I got home I checked out the door locks and found that neither door will actually lock. I can hear a sound when I lock either door but the door latch does not move. I can manually push the latch in and the door is locked and will unlock via Fob or door switch. I have checked all of the associated fuses and looked through the shop manuals for a possible common connection between both doors. There are no DIC codes and no hard codes at the diagnostic connector. Has anyone had this problem? I find it hard to believe that both door control modules are bad.

It could be a bad connection, a bad relay or a bad Door control module...

what he said. I had the same thing on my 02. I bought new modules (driver+pas) on ebay for $20 each. Corrected the problem. Be careful when you remove the door panel. Those plastic clips on mine were in there really tight, and i broke a couple getting them off
