Ok, so if you:

turn on key, don't start engine

press and hold reset till it does

Then

hold options while pressing fuel 4 times

You see 10-PCM-No codes??

i just went through them all today, here are my codes but i cant rememeber if there were any in the 10-pcm, but ill check when i get home from work
codes are
p1515 h - control module throttle acuator postion performance
p1516 h- throttle acuator control
p1626 h- theft deterrent fuel enable signal
p1638 h c - generator
c1278 h- tcs-temporarily inhibited
c 594 h c- right rear solinoid open
u 1096 h
u 1064 h
u 1016 h
u 1160 h
c 2120 h c tire pressure
the p1638 h c is the generator- i installed a 200 amp alt three years ago and always got this code ever since with no issues
c2120- i have no tire pressure gauges-never an issue in years
the u codes are from dissconnecting the battery.

Have you checked/cleaned the connections to the tac module? May be a bad connection. Also check the fuses.

This may not help but for what it's worth, I had a similar problem last winter after installing a new Callaway TB. Turned out to be a bad throttle position sensor. The sensor checked out ok electrically but apparantly had a discontinuity somewhere between idle and wot (this was a brand new GM TPS). Sorry, I don't remenber the codes I had.

Replacing the TPS solved the prob.

May not be your prob but it's a relatively cheap part and easy to install.

Just my .02.

Your problem is P1626. this is the only one on there that will put the engine in limp mode. Read the service manuals on the engine section page 426 ( tope left).

Yes- if it were C you would be limping.
I have been there with LS2TB. Turned out to be wiring to TB.
This will isolate it if you have a meter:

The blade opening may be fine but if the TPS is not seeing what it expects it goes to limp to protect you from stuck or malfunctioning throttle.
