Drop me an email at m.feldpusch@comcast.net and I'll tell you what needs to be done. Since I JUST did this not too long ago.

Take it easy

Here's a couple links.

Cajundude did a real nice write up of a header install along with catbacks, check the 2nd half for the catback install.

The worse part is getting the back end of the car 28-30 inches of the ground but it's possible, I did mine with rhino ramps up front and jack stands at the back.

Here are some pics of the ones I removed and shipped to CA.

They weigh 11 pounds each vise 24 pounds for a stock C5 muffler.

The removal and reinstall is simple.

Thanks for the responses.
I believe there was a post a while back with a C5 jacked up in the rear in prep for the removal. I am looking to get a view of the rear raised high while the mufflers are removed. I think one member did it and took photos of the complete swap.
The thought of 32" raise needed scares me. If I could look at a photo it might help.
I would bring it in, the price is not the issue, I just don't like the problems with dealing with a shop when I want them to swap in my parts it always seems to become more involved.
I wish I had room for a lift!!

If you are going to try to raise the rear high in the air, you must get the front wheels up on some wood blocks high enough so the front end wont ground before you get the rear end high enough to get the mufflers out. Been there! I used 4x4's
