I started to have shifting issues with my 98 MN6 coupe when it had about 50,000 miles on it. I changed the fluid to Mobil 1 synthetic ATF and was amazed at how much better it shifted and it was a lot quieter. I was so impressed with it that I changed the fluid in my almost new back then, 2002 Z06 with 20,000 miles on the clock and also saw a marked improvement in shift quality in that C5 also.

I've been told that it would give me problems if I us mobil one synthetic or redline, ect. becuase I have a 98 vette. Something about some type of paper inside the trans. There are a few post on this
