Advice on heads needed.....
My 99 FRC has the MTI Stealth 2 cam, kooks 1.75 headers, stock cats, TI mufflers and LS6 intake with Blackwing. After a tune, did 380 hp and runs perfectly with strong performance from 1000 to 6500 in first 5 gears.
I am considering heads and do not want to break the bank with AFR's. I want strong bottom end torque and not interested in getting the last little bit of top end. Would ported LS6 heads hurt bottom end performance in exchange for more top end?
Your opinions would be helpful.
