Vibration after differential cover change
Im out of state & the differential leaked again but worse. A local dealer changed the left differential cover on my 2004 6 speed.
This was the 4th service, rear cover and gasket, left axle seal twice.
I now have a vibration above 65 to about 80. No noise, and it mild but its like riding over the the groves they cut in the sides of the road to let you know you left the lane, but its not constant, it has a rhythm to it.
Any idea what this could be, Im 700 miles from home with no tools.
Could something be installed wrong and be dangerous?

Just a guess, but it sounds like the axle splines were not re-inserted in the same place they were taken out.
