Default Flasher locations

I am having some turn signal issues and need to do some R&R. The emergency flasher works, all the bulbs light but the turn signals blink really fast.

I have heard that there are 2 flashers. One on the fuse block by the battery and the other???

Thanks

Jeff

Have you checked all of your connections and bulbs ?

The main reason for the increased flasher speed is the lack of resistance.

Turn signal flasher is behind the hazard switch on your dash, need to pull out vent.

Do a search on it and you should find a bunch of posts.

I have checked all of the bulbs, which are working. I have not physically checked the connections yet. Is it possible to have this symptom caused by a loose connection and still have the emergency flasher flash at a normal rate?

The turn signal flasher is the flasher as the 4-way. The flasher is built into the button for the 4-way. I had the same problem only intermittent. I changed the flasher and it's worked for 2 years now.
