I got the LG LT Pros installed about 2 weeks ago at LGM. Ever since I got it back I have noticed a buzz/rattle on the passenger side. It's gotten worse. I called LG and they told me to put it on a lift and check for clearance. I work at a Chevy dealership so I had one of our techs look at it. He told me the passenger side primaries are moving around and hitting each other. Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so, is there something I should just retighten, or do I need to take it back to LG and have them look at it? Any help would be appreciated.
I would take it back and let them fix it. I have been looking at a set of LG pros for my 02 Z, so let me know how they work and how they solve your problem.
I had LT Pros installed at Carlisle, Needed to make small adjustment to passenger side was hitting bolt on heat shield over gas tanks. Other then that great job very satisfied.
Mine did the same thing after I drove it a while. I think the heat/cool cycle caused a clamp bolt to loosen. I just checked the clamps, and made sure they weren't touching anything and retightened them, and end of rattle. It's been a couple of years since, and no re-occurence.
Got to talking to Sean at LG and he told me to check the bracket on the bellhousing connected right by the collectors. Finally got the car up on a lift and found out I was able to move the bolts with my fingers. Tightened them up real good and Voiala.... no more buzz or rattle.
Hope this helps someone in the future. Thanks everyone for the help.
