Dreaded Catalyst Converter Code
I installed the Random Tech High Flow Cats and deleted the pre-cats and now I am getting a check engine light. I had it checked and it reads Deficient Catalyst Converter System. What is the reason for this? The converters are there. I guess I will have my tuner tune it out. Can someone enlighten me please?

If the PCM sees too much action on the rear O2's after warm up you'll get the light poping on. Your tuner can kill the CEL for P0420 and P0430 or better yet open up the parameters the the PCM uses to monitor the cats.

Your new cats may be too far from the heads to provide the necessary efficiency to keep the rear O2's (who's sole purpose in life is to check on the main cats) happy. You can have the codes edited out as suggested above.
