Remote keyless entry + radio problems
I have a 98 vette, and all of a sudden, my remote keyless entry stopped working. I tried replacing the battery and I tried reprogramming it, but still no luck. Also, the clock on my radio seems to be loosing time. I was thinking a dead car battery, but it starts up like a champ everytime. Even if it has been sitting for a week... any suggestions?

I assume when you checked battery you looked at the terminals to make sure thet were tight. Also check to make sure ground is good to frame. Could cause small power failures. (thus some time loss)

yea, the battery connections are tight. The computer will not even detect my remote keyless entry. When i try to program it, nothing happens. I am going to buy another one, but i do not think that is the problem.
