HELP! Door Ajar!
Tonite while on the forum my alarm went off without any reason...I walk outside and shut it off. Lock the doors and my interior lights stay on. I unlock and lock again, and the same thing...
I get in the car and try to figure it out...I turned the car on and I get a Door Ajar message and all of the doors are shut. I get out and open and close the pass door then get back in and crank it up. Same thing...
I run the codes and this is what I have...
LDCM B2262H
RFA U1096H
U1064H
U1016H
What are my options, what do you all think is wrong, and what is the solution to fix my current problem?
Adam, I'm guessing your left door control module is not sensing that the door is closed. The security system then triggers the alarm because you have locked the car and it thinks "someone" has opened/unlocked it without using the key or the fob. I'm sorry I can't give you more technical help, but I think that's essentially what's happening.

Thanks Vince for the info...
I took the car down the block and all was good till I did WOT to see if that would trigger it and it did...The lights came on and Door Ajar was back on...
Adam, did you wash the car or was it in the rain prior to this happening.
The door switch is located on the latch within the door, and is quite prone to shorting out if it gets wet. The circuit only has to complete a path to ground to sense the door is open, and water intrusion can do this.
Try directing a blow-dryer on the door-latch (on the door) to dry it out. Carefull to not overheat it/ or the door paint! The door ajar switch is part of the door latch mechanism, only accesable from inside the door. The switch wire goes to 2 places, the DoorControl Module (inside the door, and the BCM (in the passenger side footwell) Its the BCM that controls the Alarm.
Same thing happened to my "01 the other day during heavy rain. The "DOOR AJAR" came on and did the same bunch of crap your's did. It made me so freaking mad since it did this all day. Everything was fine the next day after it all dried out. I have since carried it to the dealer since it's under warranty for that and some other issues. Hopefully they will replace whatever seal or gasket needs to be replaced and this won't happen ever again.

Please keep me updated on what they replace or fix..
Adam, the dealer couldn't get it to trigger the door ajar mode again. They said that they drowned the car with a hose and it would trigger it. They did tell me that if it happened again they would do their best to take care of it at no charge since they couldn't find a problem. I really hope it doesn't happen again.
