I let the car warm up to the operating temps, disconnected the PCV line and pour the GM Top Engine Cleaner while someone maintained the idle on the car. I poured the whole can and then shut off the car. Now the car has been sitting for the stuff to work its magic for an hour or so.
Question: Do I need to reconnect the PCV line before starting the car or do I need to leave it disconnected and rev the motor to blow off the residue and then connect it back?
A quick response will be appreciated as I need to take the car in for Dyno in a few hours.
Here is the PCV line I am talking about.
Thanks in advance

Reconnect everything!! Then take it out for a fast blast through the gears. The utlimate cleaning procedure would have been to have someone maintain RPM and while your poring it in, SHUT OFF the engine and the raw fluid will sit in the cylinders over night. Then reassemble everything and in the morning when you start it up, you will see LOT of Smoke!!!

Bill, Thanks a lot for the reply. I knew I could count on you I would have loved to let the car sit over night, but did not have time. I will, however, let it sit for as long as I can before I head to the Dyno place. One hour drive (I know I will have some fun )
You need to change your oil immediately after purging your engine of the decard fluid because some will leak/blow by the rings and contaminate the oil, thinning it a bit.

Thanks Ed! Can I make a two hour round trip from dyno or do I need to do it ASAP?

My wife came running out when I did mine. She thought I caught the car on fire or something.
