Just installed American Racing Headers, hi flo cats to my Borla 4 tip Stinger exhaust. I need some help. The car has a drone at 1800 to 2400 RPM. It will wake the dead. Need info for a good performance exhaust but little to no drone in that RPM range. Car had little to no drone with factory setup to Borla Exhaust. As soon as I replace Catback I'll have a Stinger system for sale.

I'd splice in a set of straight-through resonators in the x-pipe first. You can find them at Jegs or most performance shops, they're small...like the size of high-flow cats. That should help. Good luck.

Try a true X-pipe like the one Bassani makes. It should help smooth out the sound. If after that you still don't like it... change the exhaust. It's good to have an X-pipe anyways.
I have the Bassani X and Corsa Indys... music to my ears.
A lot of posts I've read have folks switching to Z06 TI's after adding headers to Borla Stingers. The Stingers do not have any type of resonance cancelling to them at all.

Good luck!
AR headers & Ti's here. Sounds perfect with NO drone!
The Tis would be perfect for no drone, but they're pretty quiet after you've gotten used to Stingers. I went from Stingers to Magnaflow, and although they're heavy, they have the perfect balance of noise level, and a low bass tone. OTOH, I have a nice set of uncut Tis for sale.
Bassani cat back. The Borlas are what they are. If they're too loud, check out some of the Bassani systems with x pipe. I've had about 4 different systems on my car and fell in the love with the Bassani. The quality is awesome. It's a shame they have to be under the car. Drone, none! I have long tubes, stock cats, Bassani x pipe and exhaust. Nice rumble, quiet at cruise, then Satan visits when it's wide open.
I have the Dynatech system with Stingers and get a little drone at about 1500rpms but I drive right through it Now my system did come with an x-pipe maybe thats the dif.
I have QTP headers and the Ti, no drone here at all. Also, look for Tony Mamo's test of the different exhausts, with a 480 hp car he lost 3 hp bolting on the Ti's, so the performance is there just not the drone
American Racing LT's and hi flow cats with Quiet Thunder Bassani's...loud resonance 1400-1800. Not sure what to do either. Maybe TI catbacks or splice in standard cats and replace hi'flows. Not sure yet.
I just got out of my quad Stingers and went with Z06 Ti's. Now, no drone, throaty muscular sound, a bit quieter, and lighter.
I went to the ZO6 Tis from the Borlas to get rid of the drone.
I now have Bassani headers, Magaflow hi-flow cats and X-pipe. This combination sounds great at WOT and nice at cruise without any drone.

If you ditch the HF Cats and go back to stock Cats your drone will disappear.
I had reg cats and H-pipe with my Borlas and had a drone between 1700 to 2000 RPM city cruising. So I don't think that is the answer. Maybe a n X-pipe will help.
I put on LT's and HiFlo Cats and switched from Borla Stingers to Ti's. The Ti's were way too quiet, so I got a Bassani X-pipe and BX Street/Comp exhaust. Mistake, now it's too much the other way and about as bad as the Borlas. Going for GLH's and hoping for something in between.
