tires, firestone vs bfg
its has come down to these two for my decision.
295/35-18 - two rear tires
firestone firehawk wideoval 405 shipped
or
bfg kdw 470 shipped.
is it going to be worth the extra 65$ to go with the bfg's?
ne one know the tread wear on these two?.. thanks in advance guys

Get the Firestone's. I have had them on my 99 for 1 year, they are a great tire. You will like the ridge that acts as a rim protector. I smoke my tires every chance I get so I can get some new 305's on the car. The firestones will not wear out!! I am sure a few good burnouts would speed things up.
I also have the 17" BFG KDWS on my 82 and they seem to wear faster than the wide-o's. I like them both but I think the Firestones are a bargain. I will be running them on both cars very soon. I hope they make a 305/18 ??
