My driver’s seat will not move forward, all other functions work. I did a continuity check on the switch and it's OK. Wire harness is OK. Motor operates when AFT movement is selected. Any suggestions.

Just finished working on my driver's seat yesterday, had similar problems. Seat would not go forward but would go backward, raising/lowering front of seat not working. Checked out motors, wiring, connections, hardware and all worked. Replaced seat switch ($89 - Fred Beans) and SCM (Seat Control Module) under the front seat ($224 - Fred Beans) and all the problems went away, seat works well. The alternative is to pay someone to hook up a Teck II and do a diagnosis and then charge me full list price on parts, labor, and a diagnostic fee for the tech II; not to mention exposing my vette to dealership personnel (oh the horror stories). I think I'm way ahead spending $313 and doing the repair at home in the safety & security of my garage and in my own time. I don't think I would have gotten out of the dealership for less than $500 at best and who knows about the "test drives" or collateral damage.
Note - make sure to match part numbers on the SCM & switch. At fred Beans ask for Dan.
