There has been talk latley about SD tuning vs Maf. Here is a vid of my car, 2004 Z06, stock 346 block, 59cc TEA heads, G5-X3 cam, stock LS6 intake, American Racing headers and Borla stingers. Car is Speed density tuned by ECS. No debate just a comparison vid.

Thats just amazing. Only reason why I didnt go with the LG cam was because I wanted a silk smooth idle. So I stayed in the 224/228 range.

Im blown away that your car idles smoother than mine.

talk about no compromises!

Sounds great. What kind of power are you making? Got a dyno chart?

BM, you sure do make a very convincing point. I've heard other cars at your power level, with the same cam, or its equal. Vey lopey, and loud, I really like the sound of your car at idle, very stealthy. My wife wouldn't even notice the difference with the Sd tune

Please explain the difference in the tunes. What does the shop do differently from a proceedure and equipment standpoint? What is the cost difference? Thanks for any information. Tom

I don't think SD will pass emissions though from what I have been told, even if they do the OBD II check.

Car sounds good, the idle is really smooth considering the cam.
