after my 50 mile commute today, the thing veers hard to the right.

I cant imagine anything broke in the last 1000 miles to cause this, it was fine before they aligned it. I'd like to mark the cams per suggestion, but cant figure out where they are.

They are under the car at each of the lower control arm mounting points. There is a cam for the front and rear of each front lower control arm and a cam for the front of each rear control arm.

Well, its at the dealer now. when it gets back, ill mark the cams and see if we have a repeat performance. Theyve had it three hours now.

- As surmised by previous posters, the cam bolts were loose. And due to the helpful input, it's something I now know how to look for.

Thanks for the help!

When you find the cam bolts on the lower control arms, on each bolt there is a disc with markings scribed into it as reference marks. What I do is pick one of the marks on each of the cams, then take a paint pen and extend the mark on the cam to the frame next to the cam. That way you can glance at the cams and tell if the cams have changed position of the alignment gets off again.

good check if any tning moves you can move it back!
BTW did you see them use a torque wrench and tighten the cam bolts?
if not it is bes t to do this and if you do make sure you use a wrech on the bolt and the torque wrench on the nut! (hard won lesson here)

Glad to see that you got it fixed. Lots of good suggestions for keeping an eye on alignment for any potential problems.
