question please help!!

can an air pipe from an 01-04 work on a 98 with 01-04headers ?? can i just pull the 98 air tube and replace it with the 01+

It seems like it should since both the AIR tube and the headers are from the same (01-04) year range. Maybe someone else who's actually done the swap can jump in.

yea i just need to know if i can buy an 01+ air tube and swap it out over the 97-99 air tube with any problems im hoping!!

I hear ya. I know the AIR fittings on different year LS1s are in slightly different locations on the headers and of course that means that the steel tubes have to be longer/shorter to reach. I'm fairly sure the check valve location is pretty much the same; it's just the tube length in question.
Anyone else?

well i called lg and they have there air tube swap that comes with there headers that they sell sepretly for 50 bucks
