Default Header Question.

I saw that the LG motorsports long tube headers are $700 off this month. Would anyone recomment this setup w/offroad X-pipe over say kooks or AR? What all will I need for a complete install or does this come with everything? I plan on installing rear o2 sims, whats the best place to order them? Thanks guys.

LG's IMHO are the best out there. I am running his pro series which I love. You can get the sims from Lou as well. I previously had the KOOKS and removed them for what I feel is a much better product. As for the other brand, they are fairly new. Since they are very similar to the KOOKS, I would expect a comperable gain. Bottom line is all 3 are fine and you really can't pick a wrong one. Good Luck with your selection.

It will be perfect, unless you are going to a big cube motor. Just give them a call They will take the order over the phone, great team there.

16 again- Would you suggest getting them ceramic coated for the heat reduction?

Some folks here swear by it. I did not do it, and don't really see a reason for it. MY OPINION is, you will get radiant heat through the floor boards no matter what. Why spend $300.00 on something that does not really do anything? Take the money and put it towards a set of mufflers or another mod on your list. If your that concerned about heat in the cockpit, maybe the tunnel plate heat shield, which will shield the heat from the headers themselves. I don't use that either, but many folks here say it works well.

Verify the pricing, are these street or Pro? $700 off seems like a real lot. I have a friend who bought the streets and is very happy with them
