Yesterday on my drive home from work I noticed that most all of the power was out on the passenger side door. The mirror and lock wouldn't work. I didn't try the window because I didn't want to get it part way down and have it stuck there.
After fidgeting with the lock and starting the car a couple of times, the lock started working again - then stopped.
From searching the forum, it sounds like there is a door controle module that I need to replace. Does this sound right? What is the part number/best place to buy one? Is there a ground that goes with just the passenger door? If so, I think I need to check that first.
Some members have had similar problems and found chafing in the wiring at the rubber boot entering the door. It would be worth checking that before replacing the module.
I had a similar problem on my 98. The passenger window would not go back up. I opened and closed the doors afew times, then closed it from the drivers side control. It has not reoccurred for 2 months. Go figure.

That happened on my 02 with 4000 miles. Wires were all okay, needed door module. Cost about $400 with labor. They are much cheaper from some of the sponsers on here. I think about $160 or so but don't remember exactly. Part number 09389699 is stamped on the module.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm going to pull the door panel this weekend and make sure there's no chaffing and all the connections are tight. I read some people used the "bang on the door" fix where they just hit the door a few times to jiggle the wires.
If that doesn't work, I'll look at the cost of a new/used replacement module.
