I am a confused indivisual who HAS to rip his car apart this winter to keep his mind sane. I was decided on a head/cam setup + a shot (rare occasisions). BUT, BOOST keeps calling my name. My old car was a 01 cobra with a procharger d1sc which I really did love. Top end pull rush is great! I dont want to go s/c this time around as I know turbos are more efficient. More money yes, but better. Just want to do it right the first time. APS kit looks very promising and with a install myself and a buddy I possibly could afford it. Pushing the wallet hard though!

So I want to see how you guys feel. What would you be driving around a aggressive yet streetbale h/c/i setup + a small 100 shot
or
APS ZO6 TT.

Cost wise baiscally 4-5k compared to 9k tuned with fuel system installed yourself.

Crazy comparision I know, but Im a crazy guy!

Thanks

Zee

I guess it depends how power hungry you are. If you’re going to install the APS kit on your stock motor then I think you will end up about the same place power wise as the H/C + 100 shot. 575rwhp? That’s a really tough call which way to go.

I’ve had a great running H/C setup on my car for over two years and have had ZERO issues. It’s been absolutely great! I am thinking about changing to the APS system only because I want a lot more power. I worry about the reliability of TT systems as opposed to H/C or H/C and NOS.

If “all” you want is 575rwhp or so I would go with the H/C +100 shot. If you want 600+rwhp (which you probably will at some point, I know I do) save a few extra bucks and build a forged motor to go with the APS system.

Boost is the way to go. You don't know what acceleration rush is until you've pulled so hard in 3rd gear you're leaving rubber marks behind you.
