Wiper motor linkage
New here and owning Vette. Bought recently with bad wiper motor (utters clogged and motor assy. complete swimmer). Replaced with rebuilt unit. Now wipers stop all the way up when in intermittent. All else good..... any suggestions appreciated.

Inside the wiper control module (on the lower side of the motor), there is a small cam which operates a micro switch inside the cover. If that cam is out of time, it will cause that problem. I guess that there is a method to correctly position the cam but I don't know where to tell you to find it. I tore mine apart 4-5 years ago and realized that cam position was going to be an issue. i had to do a little trial and error tweaking but I got it to work correctly.
Where did you get the re built motor from. see if they will exchange it for one that works correctly.

Thanks, Bill. Parts store had already offered to get another one and rechecked the part no. Thought I may have gotten into something common on C5 so opened the thread before taking the motor assy. back.
