Default Corvettes can beat what???

I recall an older thread that someone posted a link to a website that showed numerous qtr mile times, 0-60 times, etc, for hundreds of vehicles. It was also possible to sort the table so you could see what Vettes were/are faster or slower than.

Anyone remember this link or thread?

With Heads and a Cam, Nitrous, or FI they can beat lots of things.

That's an interesting site too but not the one I'm looking for. The particular site had the #'s and times based on stock vehicles, no mods.

You can sort the table by copying it from the web site and pasting it into excel. I had to break it into two pieces, top half and bottom half or excel hung up - probably because it ran out of memory. After it is in excel, your can sort it using the data/sort procedure.

if I'm reading all these charts correctly it looks like the C5 ,with some mods, should, with a skillful driver, be expected to beat a stock Mini Cooper.

That list is ok, but whomever can't muster a LT1 Formula or Trans Am to better than a 6.7 0-60 and 14.7 1/4 SUCKS at driving.

I'll take my vette any day. I had a Mustang GT. At about 100-110mph, I did not feel safe, it was work keeping it on the road. I would bet that the Cobra is the same. In my C5, I feel comfortable at the higher speeds. Okay, some may have a half second on me, but I wouldn't trade the ride and security that I have now. For the money, it's the best out there.

you can used the advanced search, and choose the "stock" checkbox to return only the stock records....

Cool site!

Glad I'm not driving one of those Datsun B210 2-door Hatchback!

I think they are dreaming on the Oldsmobile Cutlass Diesel, the one I tested was 26 seconds 0-60. But if you disabled the EGR and flipped the breather it might be close to 18 seconds.

1968 Fiat 850 Idromatic 0-60 25.5 seconds and 23.30 for a 1/4 mile. I guess that means it can't get up to 60MPH in a quarter?
