I just completed adding a cam ,yank and 390's then the problem happens.I take the car off the stands it runs fine but now it is throwing the dreaded service abs and traction control light.I check the codes and they are c1232 left front wheel speed sensor open or shorted and c1233 right front wheel speed sensor open or shorted.I done a search on here about it and done everything I found about it.Cleaned the grounds checked the female ends of the speed sensor plugs traced down all of the wires nothing unplugged no wires cut.It was just fine when i put it up on the stands to start the project.it was down for about one month anybody have any ideas
Did you remove ground or unplug during any of the install?? If so you may have had something disconnected when you turn on the ignition. May want to clear codes and see if they come back since you said you checked wires and cleaned grounds.
If you unplugged the MAIN plug on the EBTCM, make sure that it is completely plugged back in. The front wheel sensors have multiple plug connection points. There is a JUMPER HARNESS between the wheel sensor plug and the connector on the chassis. The ONLY way to really determine if you have the correct and proper connection on each pin is to do a "PIN-PULL-TEST". You will need to find a MALE pin the same size as the male pin inside the male plug. If you insert that pin into the female pin, there should be a nice tight fit with some resistance when you try to remove it. Until you do that test,,your only really guessing as to if the connection is good or bad. I find it weird that both sides are showing bad. Thats why i ask you if the main plug is in correctly. When I had my right front sensor problem. I was reading voltage and resistance on each wheel at the main plug. When I wiggled the harness, the readings went to hell.
