Default C5 flared quarters

At chevyvettefest in chicago last weekend I met Scott from www.maxacc.com who was showing his new quarter panels for c5 that will allow 345's. I ordered a set on the spot and will post some pics when the car is done. Finally a option other than tubbing.

Very cool! How does the inner fender work with these? Seems it would leave a large gap at the top of the inner fender for rocks and water to fill up.

I'd also like to know how they deal with that gap. I assume these are made of fiberglass cloth?

he did not have a car there, just fenders, soooo that is a very good question. On our purple c6 with hand made quarters I patched in the liner. Still alot easer than tubbing
yes they are fiberglass

The kit does come with a ABS plastic liner that pop rivits in and seals up the wheel house.

Hmmmm.... don't like it and I'm in the market for something similar. They look overdone if that makes any sense.

Somoene posted up pics of a purpleish car w/ custom made ones that were just right.

That was our purple car, the problem is we had ~20 hours in each panel to make the 2.5" extensions. it is much smoother but very $$$

Tom I didn't look yet but does he make a flare for the front? I like yours because they are sutble. I didn't like the new really flared ones that he made. Where are the ones in the link above? I went to the site but didn't see them.
