Battery Tender Question
I have always connected the 2 tender leads to the battery terminals + and - . My buddy said I should connect the Neg to a grounded part of the motor and not the neg battery terminal. Does it make a difference ???

That method is used to keep from igniting the gases sometimes produced when the battery charges. I think it is irrevalent if you are using a battery tender as they usually charge at less than 1 1/2 amps and produce little if any gas.
The Battery Tender quick connect plug goes to the battery.
