Default Climate Control removal

Does any one know how to remove the accessory plug in the center console glove box. I believe this the only obstacle left that is stoping me from removing the shifter console to allow access to the climate control for removal. thanks

There is a three of connections that you need to remove if you have a Z.. The air bag light (If you have one) and the ACC plug. The ACC plug has a grey plastic clip lock that runs up one side of the connection. And the traction control button wiring. Now that one is a bit of a challenge. It has a short lead that runs up to it and it is in a hard place to get to.. All of the connections have a plastic interlock clip that you need to release by getting your finger under them while pulling on the plug. Here is a link that might help.

Thanks Tread, the link was great help, made the job a lot easier. Everything is back together and another successful climate control repair. Thanks to everyone who commented on the post dated 02-22-06 "display on dual zone climate control panel is very dim" Especially the post #24 by RPOz42. Great Job
