Check the vacuum lines underneath the battery tray. I had the same
code/problem and found a hole in the vacuum line from the battery
acid. Good luck...Tom

P0410 - Secondary Air injection A.I.R. System. It consist of an electric air pump, rubber and metal tubing and TWO exhaust manifold check valves. If the check valves stick shut, it can give this code. There are TWO check valves. The one on the drivers side manifold is easy to access and easy to change. The other valve is BEHIND the intake manifold and is a PITA to change.

You can disconnect the rubber hose (theres a plastic coupling there) outboard of the alternator and see if the pump is suppling air. The pump only runs at cold startup and only runs for a couple of minutes.

The AIR system is used to aid CAT light off when the CATs are COLD!

The reason that your getting a DTC is the O2 sensor is not detecting the added air that the pump should be suppling when the pump is running.

I pulled the battery out and there are NO vacuum lines under the tray. I kinda thought that there shouldn't be any vacuum lines in that area but I checked anyway. I will check the air valves soon. Thanks, Craig

The vacuum lines are INSIDE the wiring harnesses and they look just like wires! They are plastic/nylon and black in color.

The vacuum line IS under the battery tray area more towards the firewall. It is in fact taped up with a large wire harness like BC mentioned. You
have to remove the battery tray as well as the battery to locate the harness! You will not see by just removing the battery.
