I've got a 2002 z06. The car has an intermittent problem. When the car is started it may have the c1267 code or it may not. Any ideas where to begin looking?

My code list say this is a traction control code for rigth rear inlet valve solenoid---malfunction? So thats where I'd start. Also check connections as tstar says.
NO! You most likely have a EBTCM issue. Iys the electrical portion of the module and it is not user serviceable. You can however disconnect the main EBTCM connection, examine it, make sure it is clean and corrosion free and reconnect it. If you have a bad EBTCM, it is an easy self repair. You will save your self about$400 to $1000. dollars depending on where you get your module. Here is a pic of the module EBTCM/BPMV:

New modules are about $700. Remanufactured modules are $350
Pull the electrical connectors, examine then, clean them reinstall and see if things change. If they don't, its time for a new EBTCM. In the Navy,,, if things don't work correctly, mechanical agitation (smack the damn thing with a rubber mallet) is sometimes necessary! Ya never know, it might change the symptoms or even fix it.
