sleeper cam
im just curious if theres a fairly queit idle cam that could put me around 380 rwhp through stock manifolds, just asking

228R with the all the other bolt on's could get you really close.

CheaTR cam was designed to use stock exhaust, would get you close if not there. Very aggressive ramps and lift though.

lingenfelter gt2-3 i put down 362 rwhp with ls6 intake and exhaust manifolds . good luck with your choice

I would also check out MTI's Stealth II Cam, designed for that very purpose.

also, how many RPMs can a stock LS1 turn safely? im sure that will be a factor in my cam selection as well, or will the new valve springs etc move that number up?(the RPM safe range)

the key is to have a 114 or higher LSA
i think the Z06 cams had 117

Depends on the year, earlier years I believe have more concerns with regard to rod bolts than later years since the bottom end is the same as the LS6.

A TR224 puts down nice numbers and can be tuned to idle close to stock. I would do the 112 LSA to get maximum results though.
