maybe i've seen you around before. :D i just graduated from school and am an AT for one of the firms on the floor, although i must say that being able to get up in the morning and walking down the hall to your slew of 20" flatscreens must be nice. i'm still living at home in glencoe with my parents cuz i never got around securing a place to live. it'd be cool to swing by one of these days or meet up in northbrook to check out the rides and maybe even cruise with all the members here.
tomc5,
absoutely right. on a sunday afternoon after church in chinatown, i always take it top down up michigan avenue and join onto lsd where the magnificient mile ends. there's no better cruise than one on the entirety of lake shore drive /55 on a beautiful breezy summer day.
kind of worried about seeing all you guys and your cars. that mod bug might bite hard!

Re: Illinois C5's (TomC5)
...One of my favorite early Sunday morning drives is to cruise into the city and make a swing through the Planetarium for a great skyline view and then up LSD to the Gold Coast
TomC5,
This is funny, One of our favorite drives is to swing through St. Charles, Elburn and back through Geneva on the way home. We want to get away from the city. :yesnod:

That is only one of my favorite trips. I think my personal favorite is taking 72 west and picking up 20 into Galena. Having a quick breakfast in Galena and then taking 4th street out of town (a great winding country road). Then heading south along the Mississippi and stopping at the Mississippi Palasades. Then you just pick up 64 heading east (some great straight aways to end the day). Let me know next time you are out in the area.
