Brake(!) light comes on

Brake(!) light comes on
Hey guys. Starting last week I have been having a strange problem. When I hit the gas from a stop (say from a stop light), the brake(!) dummy light comes on by my gauges. What does this mean? Why would it a brake light come one only when I hit the gas? Thanks.

If the light is coming on when you accelerate, the fluid is low and when it shifts in the reservoir, it is triggering the brake warning light.
You can check the level yourself. Just look at the reservoir and see if the fluid level is close to the full mark.

Thanks for the help guys. I don't know why it would be low but I'll get it checked out right away. I wish for once I could own a Vette without every single thing (especially the life saving features) breaking.
