Default Rev Limiter

I had the opportunity to bang some gears on a deserted road,( believe it or not my first time from a standing stop w/ this vehicle) went through 1,2,&3 and hit around 110 then shifted to 4th to begin to slow, but watching the tach as i shifted it seemed to cut out at 6 grand, in 1st and 2nd, i shifted to 3rd at 5800 or somewhere close to that, so is this the limiter? i thought it was some what higher like 6500? any thoughts? Oh yea it gets there real quick, and BTW i didnt miss no shifts( Ripper ) felt good LOL. :chevy

Rob 99 meets the limiter.

Won't be the last time either.

The tac lags behind the "engine actuals" by a couple hundred rpms. Believe the limiter is invoked at 6200 on the LS1.

With the engine reving so fast in 1st and 2d, it's a good idea to start those shifts at 5800.
