I had just finished the led mod for my hvac controls, so i decided to test them out. I plugged the unit in and it looked great, but when I went to unplug it something metal hit the board and all the lights went out. Does the hvac have a fuse. please help me!!!

I'm confused... did you plug your HVAC into the car while it was disassembled? I don’t see how anything can short just plugging the unit in and out…
BTW I just got done doing mine as well, I found a source for the colored silicone covers that the rest of the bulbs in the car uses and replaced all of them with red covers.
FYI You can test your HVAC board with a 9-volt battery; hook it up on the 3rd and 6th wire from the black wire on the board’s terminal punch strip.
