Abs/traction Control Problem!!! Help!
I took my 03 Z06 to chevy to have the oil changed. When the tech pulled the car on the ramp he mentioned to me that there was a message displayed to service abs/traction control/stability control system. I thought this was some kind of joke or scam when he told me...it just seemed to ironic. After coming home and doing some research it looked like many others have faced this issue. I read the instructions on how to look up the code and have discovered this...
Code: 28-TCS; C214 C: solenoid valve relay contact or coil CKT open.
What I can't seem to find out is what this message means.....
Does anybody know whats wrong with my Z06???

The 1214 DTC is a $$$$$$$ death sentance! If you have any warrenty,,,,USE IT!!!! If not, there are aftermarket companies that repair these modules with a life time warrenty for $350. Thats about 1/2 the price of a GM replacement piece of crap!
90% of the time a 1214 DTC means replace the EBTCM.

I'm assuming you meant 28-TCS 1214 C…. Typically it’s a bad EBCM and it’s a very expensive piece! You can try to clean the connections on it, Good link to start with;

The next step, cost wise is to have your unit rebuilt. Some forum members have had good luck with http://autoecu.com/ Their phone # is at the bottom of the web page, Their service comes with a Life Time warranty. Link;
