Magnetic drain plug.....
Some recent discussion talked about finding needle bearings stuck to the drain plug during oil changes. It's made me wonder if I could ever have the rocker arm bearings start to become dislodged and never know it until the damage has been done.
So I ask......Do C5's come from the factory with magnetic oil drain plugs?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

NAPA has 'em
$5 or $6. Swap it at your next oil change. Part # BK 7041369. Comes with the washer. Cheap piece of mind mod!

I believe there was a sevice bulletin in 01 that instructed GM techs to install the magnetic plug. I might still have the link in my home computer and will check later. I installed one, years ago.
