Wiper arm removal
I am trying to get the wiper arms off of a 03 Z06. I already took the nut off, but the wiper arm does not come off very easily. Is there a special tool required, or can I use a screwdriver? Thanks

There is a special puller made for this...but you can usually get the arms off with enough wiggling.
The splined shaft the arms attach to has a slight taper, so it can make removal tough. Just try to rock the base of the arm back and forth while pulling upwards. Once you break the "seal" of the tapered fit, they will literally jump right off.
I've had mine off 3-4 times and never needed a puller.

I have screwed the nut down flush with the top of the shaft, lift the arm up off the window, lift up on the base of the arm and tap the nut lightly with a hammer. It popped right off.
